Junior EAL Summer Progam

Eurocentres Atlantic Canada offers several Summer Junior EAL Programs. All students are enrolled in ESL classes in the morning (15 hours/week) and then have the choice to enroll in one of our exciting English+ programs in the afternoons. These afternoon programs are explained below and include English, Golf, Sailing, Tennis, and Artech.

In your application, you are able to choose one or more of these afternoon programs to participate in throughout your stay at Eurocentres Atlantic Canada. E-mail our Admissions Consultant using our contact form for program inquiries!

General English – Super Intensive 30

In Eurocentres Atlantic Canada’s General English – Super Intensive 30 Program, you will be immersed in an authentic English speaking environment and will receive 30 lessons per week of formal classroom English Language instruction with our professional teaching staff. You will also enjoy full access to Eurocentres Atlantic Canada’s exciting social program and explore Nova Scotia while meeting friends from all over the world!

Program includes:

  • 30 lessons per week of English Language Instruction with Eurocentres’ professional teaching staff
  • English immersion in an authentic English speaking community
  • Nightly activities, on and off campus
  • Exciting weekend excursions to explore Nova Scotia (Camping, Halifax Trips, Whale Watching, Zip-lining, etc.)
  • Accommodation in Eurocentres’ Student Residence (located only 2 minutes from the school)
  • Live-in counsellor(s) to assist with any questions during your stay
  • 3 home-cooked meals/day + daily snacks

Choose GOLF as your English+ Program this summer! The Bluenose Golf Course is stunning and overlooks the beautiful Lunenburg harbour. Play with the course pro, relax, and enjoy practicing your English with your friends!

Program includes:

  • 20 lessons per week of English Language Instruction with Eurocentres’ professional teaching staff
  • ~10-15 hours per week of golf lessons/practice at the Bluenose Golf Course (Golf Clubs NOT INCLUDED)
  • English immersion in an authentic English speaking community
  • Nightly activities, on and off campus
  • Exciting weekend excursions to explore Nova Scotia (Camping, Halifax Trips, Whale Watching, Zip=lining, etc.)
  • Accommodation in Eurocentres’ Student Residence (located only 2 minutes from the school)
  • Live-in counsellor(s) to assist with any questions during your stay
  • 3 home-cooked meals/day + daily snacks

English + Sailing.

Choose SAILING as your English+ Program this summer! Meet Canadian friends and spend your afternoons learning how to sail at the Lunenburg Yacht Club. Instruction will be in English so it will be great practice for you!

Program includes:

  • 20 lessons per week of English Language Instruction with Eurocentres’ professional teaching staff
  • ~10-15 hours per week of sailing lessons/practice at the Lunenburg Yacht Club
  • English immersion in an authentic English speaking community
  • Nightly activities, on and off campus
  • Exciting weekend excursions to explore Nova Scotia (Camping, Halifax Trips, Whale Watching, Zip=lining, etc.)
  • Accommodation in Eurocentres’ Student Residence (located only 2 minutes from the school)
  • Live-in counsellor(s) to assist with any questions during your stay
  • 3 home-cooked meals/day + daily snacks

English + Tennis

Choose TENNIS as your English+ Program this summer! Get lessons from our tennis pro and play daily with your friends while practicing your English! You won’t find a better summer camp experience than this!

Program includes:

  • 20 lessons per week of English Language Instruction with Eurocentres’ professional teaching staff
  • ~10-15 hours per week of tennis lessons/practice at the Lunenburg Tennis Courts
  • English immersion in an authentic English speaking community
  • Nightly activities, on and off campus
  • Exciting weekend excursions to explore Nova Scotia (Camping, Halifax Trips, Whale Watching, Zip=lining, etc.)
  • Accommodation in Eurocentres’ Student Residence (located only 2 minutes from the school)
  • Live-in counsellor(s) to assist with any questions during your stay
  • 3 home-cooked meals/day + daily snacks

English+ Artech

Choose ART TECHNOLOGY (ARTECH) as your English+ Program this summer! Design and create video games, animations, or movie productions while practicing your English skills with a group of new friends including native English speakers!

Program includes:

  • 20 lessons per week of English Language Instruction with Eurocentres’ professional teaching staff
  • ~10-15 hours per week of Digital Media instruction through Artech Camps at Eurocentres Atlantic Canada
  • English immersion in an authentic English speaking community
  • Nightly activities, on and off campus
  • Exciting weekend excursions to explore Nova Scotia (Camping, Halifax Trips, Whale Watching, Zip=lining, etc.)
  • Accommodation in Eurocentres’ Student Residence (located only 2 minutes from the school)
  • Live-in counsellor(s) to assist with any questions during your stay
  • 3 home-cooked meals/day + daily snacks

At Eurocentres Atlantic Canada we make learning English fun! Our Summer Junior EAL Programs give you the opportunity to not only learn English with us in a classroom setting but also use what you have learned to communicate with native English speakers in our community, whether through your participation in one of our English+ programs or our exciting social program! This will be an amazing summer for you as you learn and improve your English skills in a professional and fun environment! 

Social Program

Every Eurocentres Atlantic Canada Summer Junior EAL Program includes full access to our AMAZING social program! The social program includes on and off campus activities that are held every evening as well as throughout the weekends. A sample activity schedule for the summer is included below and includes activities ranging from Conversation Club to a trip to Halifax to Whale Watching off Brier Island!
